Tonight went very well. The text book is a typical assessment book. Its pretty wordy and makes the same point in different ways. The chapter presentations really help put the assigned readings into a more understandable way. Yollie and Faye did an excellent job in summing up the chapters key points. The exploration of the Assessment book was also done today. The assessment tools may come in handy as we go about assesses our students for this course. We also discussed the blog requirements. That was helpful. It was nice to know that other are struggling with what exactly is required for the blog.
Yes, Alan I agree, the book is very wordy and makes the same points in many different ways. I think out of all the chapters, Faye's seemed the most interesting, not that I didn't enjoy yours, it was good. I think it's always good to clarify concerns that we have regarding our assignemnts with Dr. Rivera. See you on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteWe're all thinking alike with regard to the text and the presentations. I like how you can condense the text into just what needs to be said. A lot of what you presented was repeated in my chapter which reinforces what I am thinking are key points. Thanks for the empanada and see you at the session on Friday.
